Coaching

Walking alongside youth leaders in discernment and growth.

Leadership often carries more weight than it looks like. Many youth leaders navigate complex dynamics, hold significant responsibility, and make important decisions with very little space to slow down and be heard.

After more than 20 years in youth ministry — including 16 years on church staff — I understand both the visible demands and the quieter weight leaders carry.

I come alongside youth leaders as a steady, relational presence — creating space to name what's real, ask honest questions, and discern faithful next steps. This is not consulting from a distance or offering pre-packaged solutions — you are the expert in your context.

Having served as a youth pastor, emerging generations pastor overseeing multiple ministry leaders, and later as a site pastor, I bring experience, perspective, and pattern-recognition to the table. Together, we clarify what matters most, strengthen what's already working, and move forward with confidence and faithfulness in the work you've been entrusted with.

Who Coaching Is For

Coaching may be a good fit if:

  • You're leading young people and want to think more intentionally about long-term spiritual formation.
  • You feel the weight of leadership and need space to process clearly.
  • You're navigating growth, change, or transition.
  • You care about depth and faithfulness more than activity and busyness.
  • You want clarity — not just more ideas.

Typical Coaching Rhythm

Coaching is structured and intentional, usually taking place over a defined season (often 3–6 months) with regular conversations.

Each engagement is tailored to your context, but often includes:

  • Clarifying mission, vision, and values
  • Strengthening discipleship pathways
  • Processing leadership tension and staff dynamics
  • Preparing for catalytic moments
  • Aligning rhythms with long-term formation strategy

Coaching is a relational partnership rooted in discernment, clarity, and faithful next steps. I coach leaders locally and online across Canada and the U.S.

Coaching is also a defined and paid engagement, discussed after an initial conversation to ensure mutual fit. If financial constraints are a concern, let's talk — I never want cost to be a barrier to meaningful support.
